Icon Alliance Crysmatic Street Motorcycle Helmet Blue SIZE XL

Evolved and refined. Icon has never been satisfied with the status quo - which is why they created the new Icon Alliance helmet. Based on the proven Alliance SSR, this next gen helmet is fitted with a multitude of key refinements. The first revision is the new EPS liner. Icon listened to the customers' requests and reshaped the EPS liner into a more oval geometry. This new headform increases rider comfort by slightly elongating the entire inner circumference. Combine this geometry with the removable HydraDry wicking comfort liner and the result is a nearly perfect rider-focused enclosure. To further increase rider comfort, Icon's revised the entire venting system. Much like a finely tuned motor, the intake and exhaust ports have been reshaped and enlarged for increased airflow.

Additional ventilation ports have also been added to the lateral aspect of the helmet to further increase ventilation. The shield itself has been upgraded to Icon's distortion-free ProShield. The ProShield features the ProLock shield locking system, graphic enabled side plates, fog-free coating, and a tool-free shield change interface.

Continuing with Icon's commitment to excellence, the Alliance is constructed with premier manufacturing processes and stringent quality assurance procedures. This, combined with rigorous testing, assures that the Alliance meets or exceeds high safety standards.

Pick a color, any color. The Crysmatic obliges with a CMYK assault. A digital taste of a trip hop world, the Alliance Crysmatic imbues the subtlety of a laser light show, with the silence of the EDC. Get your fast on.

2013 Volkswagen Passat R-Line & new 1.4 TSI arrive

Mon, 13 May 2013

The Volkswagen range is hugely successful and largely appealing, but it’s not always the most dynamic looking range of cars on offer. Which is why the R-Line option of fairly understated sporty add-ons is so popular and why VW is offering it on more and more of its range. Now we get the VW Passat R-Line treatment (just as we did with the old Passat) with a bespoke body kit offering more butch bumpers front and back – and cornering fogs in the front bumper – side skirts, 18″ Kansas alloys, spoiler at the back, lowered suspension, extra chrome, Bi-xenon headlights with LED running lights and privacy glass to give the Passat a much more appealing look.

Tokyo motor shows: past, present and future

Thu, 20 Aug 2009

By Tim Pollard Motor Shows 20 August 2009 09:30 As bets in this topsy-turvy, unpredictable industry go, it’s a banker: of all the motor shows on the global calendar, the Tokyo exhibit is always the barmiest. Although the Chinese shows are rising in importance – and amusement value –  there’s something peculiarly bonkers about the biannual Japanese bash held in downtown Tokyo. So strange is the exhibition at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba City to westerners, that you don’t bat an eyelid at talking cars, vehicles with feelings, or cars designed for dogs.

Learner driver sits test 110 times

Tue, 13 Aug 2013

A 28-year-old woman has sat her driving theory test 110 times, costing the unnamed candidate a whopping £3,410 in test fees. It’s unknown whether the candidate actually passed her driving theory test at the 110th attempt. Reported by the Daily Mirror, the figures released under a Freedom of Information Act request to the Driver and Vehicle Licencing Agency (DVLA) stand as a new record for failing the first section of the UK’s two-part driving test.
