- The ICON Hypersport pant is the elite accompaniment to the Hypersport
jacket. Like the entire ICON Hypersport series, the Hypersport pant is
constructed of multiple materials, each chosen for their unique performance
properties. The main chassis is comprised of 1.2-1.4mm TrackSpec™ leather,
stretch Cordura, and nylon lowers. This construction yields an incredibly
durable pant while keeping overall weight to a minimum. TPU knee plates and
adjustable D3O® knee impact protectors are coupled with integrated knee and
lumbar flex zones for excellent on-bike mobility. Strategic areas of
laser-perforated venting and TechMesh™ paneling help keep everything cool.
The tailored fit (no diaper butt here) is accompanied by a ratchet fly
closure and dual waist adjustment straps. The Hypersport pant includes an
internal waist zipper that connects to either the Hypersport Prime jacket or
the Hypersport jacket.

The Ford Figo Saloon Concept (pictured) debuts in India
The Ford Figo is a last generation Ford Fiesta built for emerging markets in India, but this new Ford Figo Concept appears to be a next generation Ford KA with a boot. Looking just like the new Ford KA Concept from Brazil – which got a European outing in Barcelona in December - the Figo Concept is a next-generation Ford KA with a an extra bit on the back and aimed at emerging markets. That ‘emerging markets’ aim seems clear when one of the major selling points, according to Ford, is the flexible architecture of the power door mirrors that makes it far less likely the mirror will be ripped off when hit by a passing car.

Volkswagen Cross Coupé Concept at Tokyo
Volkswagen to debut the VW Cross Coupe Concept at the Tokyo Motor Show, a compact hybrid SUV that’s smaller than a Tiguan and bigger than a golf. Volkswagen are taking the VW Cross Coupe to the Tokyo Motor Show this week, and it looks a bit like they’ve taken inspiration for their new car from every successful current car niche, in the hope the cross coupe will strike a chord with buyers. From the name – which VW used for the concept version of the Q3 – to a bit of SUV, a small dose of swoopy coupe all wrapped up in a crossover, the Cross Coupe appears to be conceived to be all things to all car buyers.

Former auction house owner Dean Kruse surrendered to northern Indiana authorities last week to face a theft charge in Pennsylvania, where he is accused of failing to pay a man $38,000 for selling an antique hearse. The Associated Press, citing The Herald Republican of Angola, Ind., said that Kruse, 69, was released Aug. 31 from the DeKalb County Jail in Auburn, Ind., after posting a $5,000 bond.
