Ford lines up Mark Fields to succeed Alan Mulally

The appointment of Fields, 51, who has been president of Ford's Americas unit, was part of a sweeping overhaul of executive ranks unveiled Thursday.

If it matters, official economy is 21.4mpg and emissions 308g/km. But instead it’s going to be a limited edition special. That probably makes sense with Volvo busy updating their entire range, but it does mean there will be just 750 cars built, of which 175 are earmarked for the UK – the biggest allocation of any market.
