Here's an incredible pair of vintage, black leather motorcycle pants by Beck Northeaster Flying Togs; sz 32 x 30 (inseam) & 41" from waistband to bottom of leg (if you need any other measurements please ask). These 1940's era pants were intended not only for motorcycle riders but for pilots as well! The leather is thick & heavy, still supple & very wearable. There are 3 zippered pockets - 2 in the front & 1 in the back. These superb pants close w/a big zipper & 2 big snaps that still work fine. I bought & wore them myself (can't believe I fit 'em) in SF in the early 1970's; & they were vintage then. (Note: any hazy, white-ish blurs in pics are on camera lens -not on pants). These amazing oldies, in great condition, are truly an American made classic & will surely please their new owner. Sold with no reserve.

Long Distance Tracking Effort Locates Stolen Motorcycle

Fri, 14 Mar 2014

WHEN your pride and joy is stolen you always hope you’ll see it again. Tracking services naturally boost the chances of recovery, but one lucky bike owner has Bike Trac and Interpol to thank for the return of their prized possession after a particularly lengthy search. Taken on a Monday evening from South London, the £12,000 Ducati 899 Panigale was quickly confirmed as stolen thanks to the equipped Bike Trac unit communicating with its owner and the firm’s operating centre.

Gorden Wagener on how Mercedes is "moving from a traditional luxury brand to a modern luxury brand"

Thu, 28 Aug 2014

Mercedes' 'home' design studio in Sindelfingen, Germany is housed in an expansive 30,000-square meter building designed by Renzo Piano. The lobby is unassuming, but we're soon through into what Mercedes' grandly calls 'the Vision Room.' It's here that strategic meetings are held with the firm's board, and where we meet Gorden Wagener, Mercedes' head of design since 2008. It's in the Vision Room that Wagener convinced the Mercedes board of the merits of his overarching design philosophy: 'sensual purity'.

2011 Kia Picanto revealed

Tue, 07 Dec 2010

The 2011 Kia Picanto teased in a sketch ahead of Geneva 2011 Kia are on a bit of a roll at the moment (as are sister company Hyundai) with cars like the new 2011 Kia Optima and the new Kia Sportage taking Kia’s offerings to a much higher level in terms of design and style. And perception of quality. That upwards march looks set to continue with Kia’s version of the Hyundai i10 – the 2011 Kia Picanto – which is due to launch at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2011.
