Jaguar F-type coupe (2013) overhead preview shot revealed

By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 06 November 2013 09:30 This is the first picture of Jaguar's new F-type coupe, which will be revealed in full at the Los Angeles motor show. Seen testing in the UK earlier in 2013, the new Porsche 911 rival will be powered by the same range of supercharged engines as the lairy soft-top. Apart from the (likely optional) glass roof and worryingly narrow boot aperture, the F-type coupe looks all but identical to the pretty C-X16 concept that first previewed the F-type back in 2011.

Bertone announces latest motor show special

Bertone has revealed it will give a new one-off concept its world premiere at the upcoming Geneva motor show. There is next to no information – not even a name – about what we can expect from the Italian carrozeria's latest offering, and all we have to work from is the 'teaser' image of the car's profile. Report: Interior Motives China Conference 2009 - Day 1

Interior Motives returned once more to the exciting city of Shanghai for its second China design conference, themed ‘China: Changing the landscape of car design'. Held straight after the first Shanghai auto show press day - a day topped off by the Car Design Night, attended by some 300 or so designers - this two-day event saw 27 of the world's foremost car design experts and nearly 250 delegates gather together to debate the future of Chinese car design. Session 1 - Harnessing design awareness Tony Williams, UK design director of China's biggest carmaker, SAIC, kicked off the session by explaining how trend research was finding more savvy and confident Chinese consumers who want their character reflected in the products they buy and "cars they want rather than just need".
