Jabsco Macerator Pump - 115V MFG#  18690-0000

115V AC Macerator

The Jabsco AC macerator pump unit is the ideal answer to waste handling problems for marine, recreational vehicle and domestic uses. The macerator section grinds waste down to a particle size of 1/8" maximum so it can be pumped easily through a 1" hose discharge line. The pump is self-priming, permitting the unit to be mounted above or below the tank in a convenient location. For optimal efficiency, locate pump as close to the waste source as practical. Empties a 30 gallon holding tank in only 3 minutes. The waste pump will macerate and pump all waste and tissue normally found in marine waste systems. IT WILL NOT HANDLE HARD SOLID OBJECTS, SANITARY NAPKINS OR RAGS.

Sir Stirling Moss gives up racing

Fri, 10 Jun 2011

Stirling Moss hangs up his helmet It had to come eventually – Sir Stirling Moss retiring from motor racing – but it felt like the best driver England has ever produced could go on for ever. Stirling Moss won sixteen Grands Prix in his career and became synonymous with the Mille Miglia, but his career ended in 1962 after a crash at Goodwood put him in a coma for a month. Many said Stirling could have come back after he recovered from his injuries, he just tried to do it too soon.

Electric car world record on single charge – but it’s pointless

Thu, 27 May 2010

The Japanese Electric Vehicle Club did 632 miles in this Electric Daihatsu Mira Van When car endurance records are set they feel relevant only if they are real-world records. Records set by a car you can buy doing something you could do. A bit like Tom Ford’s run to Munich and back in a BMW 320d ED last week when he managed over 1,000 miles on a single standard tank of fuel.

Saab fans gather outside GM headquarters

Tue, 05 Jan 2010

The 60-plus-year history of Saab may come to an inglorious end in the next few days if General Motors and Dutch supercar maker Spyker--or perhaps a dark-horse bidder--fail to reach an agreement to save the iconic Swedish maker of premium cars. But the potential death of yet another GM brand raised some voices of dissension--and passion--as a crowd of about 30 Saab enthusiasts braved temperatures in the 20s and snow flurries to show their support for Saab at a gathering near GM's global headquarters in downtown Detroit. The event was organized by the Ryan Emge, editor of a Saab.History.com, and was part car show, part rally and part family gathering.
