Jaguar E-Type Rear Engine Mounting Bracket and Spring For Series 1 & 2 SWB Cars

This is an original mounting plate, spring, spring grommet and bush for the SWB S1 & S2 E-Type. These are NOS parts and have never been installed. The spring grommet was originally glued into the cup on the bracket but time took its toll on the glue and it has been cleaned up. The pin bush is still in the bracket. Spring has dark redish stripe painted down its length.

It’s a true three-door shooting brake wagon: Volvo claims it points strongly toward the future design of its V70 and XC70 estate models. Rather than going down the swooping roofline/thick pillars route for his shooting brake design, Volvo’s new design boss Thomas Ingenlath was inspired by the P1800 ES of the 1970s.
