Jaguar E-Type - Series 1, 1.5, & 2 - LH Rear Inner Wheel Arch Section This is one LH rear inner wheel arch assembly section - it is ONE PIECE of Jaguar Part # BD15226. It fits all Series 1, 1.5, and 2 Coupes (FHC), Roadsters (OTS), and 2+2's. The entire assembly is different for each body style, but this section is the same on all models. It is formed from cold-rolled steel and patterned after the original piece. It is guaranteed to be correct in every dimension - although I will admit that due to the hand-built nature of these cars, AND the tricky shape of this piece, this is one of the harder pieces to fit. BUT, have no fear, we mashed an original dead flat to get this patterned correctly - it's RIGHT! FINALLY - you can replace JUST a section of this assembly, and save HUNDREDS! - This panel is almost always rusted... However, the upper sections of the inner rear wheel arch are usually OK. This panel has never been available on it's own - only as a part of the overall assembly - which costs $370 from the usual suppliers! Many people purchase that and only use this piece - or worse, are "guilted" into replacing the whole assembly, cutting into the shell much more than they need to and opening up things they wish they hadn't... We have reproduced the entire assembly in our fabrication shop, but are offering this section as a separate piece at a reasonable price. Mon, 09 Jan 2012Hyundai Veloster Turbo - first photos The Hyundai Veloster Turbo will arrive officially later today at the Detroit Motor Show, but we already have the first photos of Hyundai’s hot hatch. Apart from the daft looking Hyundai Hexa Space that turned up at Delhi last week, all Hyundai’s latest offerings have been pretty much on the money, none more so than the very convincing Veloster. But there was just one thing we didn’t like about the new Veloster – it’s lack of oomph.

This is the first M3 with a folding metal hardtop, and the first with BMW's new transmission. It's a new seven-speed gearbox called M DCT gearbox – a double-clutch affair (like VW's seven-speed DSG) allowing near-instant changes, with little drop in power.
