THIS AUCTION IS FOR A JAGUAR WATER PUMP REBUILD KIT FOR THE 1973-1994 12-CYLINDER XJS, XJ12 & SERIES III E-TYPE JAGUAR XKE OTS, ROADSTER, COUPE, 2+2 RHD & LHD MODELS WITH CASTING NUMBER P36914 OR EAC2109 and OTHERS. THIS KIT ALSO WILL REBUILD ALL OF THE XJS, XJ12 SINGLE AND DUAL PULLEY PUMPS FROM 1973-1994. THIS 7 (SEVEN) PIECE KIT INCLUDES A NEW INTEGRAL SHAFT BEARING, NEW UNITIZED SEAL (ACTUALLY TWO DIFFERENT SIZES FOR BOTH STYLE HOUSINGS) , NEW & IMPROVED 6 VANE CAST IRON IMPELLER, 2 NEW GASKETS, SEAL HEIGHT SETTING TOOL AND SELF-LOCKING ALLEN SCREW. THIS KIT WILL REBUILD THE FOLLOWING JAGUAR PUMPS. 1973-1974 E-TYPE WITH CASTING NUMBER P369141972-1994 XJ12, XJS EAC2109 WITH 5.3 LITRE ENGINE. VW developing 10-speed transmission to save fuel
Thu, 02 May 2013Volkswagen is developing a 10-speed dual-clutch transmission to help reduce fuel consumption in its vehicles, CEO Martin Winterkorn said. The transmission is one of a number of drivetrain technologies that the automaker is focusing on for the mid- and long term, he said. Others include plug-in hybrids and a high performance diesel engine.

In the first prototype, it is a 132 kW / 180 PS strong Clean Diesel (TDI) with common rail injection and downstream NOx storage catalytic converter. At a low 1,750 rpm – right from the engine speed ‘cellar’ – the 2.0 liter turbo engine develops its maximum torque of 350 Newton-meters.
