WE are a small independent British Italian and Swedish Car parts company founded in 1980. We had a huge salvage yard and have parted out almost 1,500 cars since 1980. Matthews Foreign Car Parts also has a Giant inventory of NEW, NOS, REBUILT and used parts. We moved are salvage operation to a 40,000 square foot warehouse were everthing is stored. We only keep about 15-25 cars around strip them down and label the parts and store them in giant rooms. The warehouse used to be a MEAT PACKING PLANT. We also have a satellite yard in south east Georgia that we can ship from. if you have factory part numbers that is the best. New Fiat Panda Cross is a rugged Panda 4×4 baby SUV
Tue, 18 Feb 2014The new Fiat Panda Cross (pictured) debuts at Geneva It might not be the top of everyone’s wish list as a baby SUV, but the Fiat Panda Cross has always been better than you’d imagine, and the latest Panda Cross – revealed ahead of a debut at the Geneva Motor Show – looks even more able than the last Panda Cross and better looking too. The 2014 Fiat Panda Cross (although it will really be a 2015 model by the time it arrives in the UK) looks like a proper baby SUV thanks to its new front bumper with a satin titanium skid plate full of round cut-outs, new back bumper with skid plate, new lights, big wheel arches, roof bars and a new set of 15″ alloys (with ‘All Seasons’ 185/65R15 tyres), whilst the interior gets Climate, Blue&Me Infotainment and height-adjustable driver’s seat. The Panda Cross also gets proper baby SUV toys like automatic drive between the axles according to grip, torque control of individual wheels when off-road and hill descent control for controlled downhill descents.

Dramatic CCTV footage shows consequences of tyre failure
Wed, 23 Oct 2013AS A PART of October's Tyre Safety Month initiative the Highways Agency have released dramatic footage of the consequences of tyre failure. In the clip, viewable on the Highways Agency YouTube channel, motorway cameras capture the moment a front tyre explodes on a large lorry, sending it out of control and into the central reservation in a spectacular crash. Further clips show the chaos caused when all three lanes of a motorway are closed to retrieve tyre debris, and the eye-watering £2 million cost of a lorry fire caused by tyre failure results in all six lanes of a motorway being shut for hours.
