These are left over pieces of an original factory leather seat hide for Jaguar XJ8 Vanden Plas 2000-2003 in Ivory trim code NED. The two inserts are in excellent condition and show no wear or color fade. The other pieces are good used from the same set and show some normal wear but could be used to replace badly worn or cracked pieces in your seats. The last photo shows two pieces of correct ivory vinyl that are also included. The advantage is being able to use original Connolly vat dyed leather that is the correct aged color that will match your car's aged leather color. I just had my front seats "patch" repaired, and it looks like factory done and matches the interior exactly. Your seats are made up of smaller pieces sewn together to begin with!

Wed, 27 Jun 2012Renault has revealed that the Dacia Duster compact SUV will cost from £8,995 in the UK for the 2WD version. Renault threatened that the Dacia brand’s arrival in the UK – and in particular the Dacia Duster SUV – would offer ”Shockingly Affordable Prices’. And they’re not wrong. We thought the Dacia SUV would dip under £10k, but Renault has priced the new Duster in its basic form - admittedly with FWD – at just £8,995.

The base model, called Premium, comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, alloy pedal covers, HID headlights and a touch-screen GPS navigation system with a 6-inch LCD display.

Fri, 07 Dec 2007Volkswagen's Slipstream concept has won the fourth annual Design Challenge competition, part of the Design Los Angeles automobile designer's conference. The award was presented during the second press day of the 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show. The theme of this year's competition, RoboCar of 2057, asked eight automotive design studios in California to form their vision of the future by depicting a vehicle that incorporates artificial intelligence engineered to make life easier and more attractive to consumers 50 years from now. Designers entered two-dimensional renderings and concept descriptions predicting how the rapidly advancing field of artificial intelligence will integrate into the automobile to make life safer, more practical and attractive, and the entries were judged by multi-discipline design professionals who selected the winner based on its originality of creative concept, integration of robotics and level of adaptation to a variety of environmental conditions and consumer needs.
