Set of 4. 8.0J x 18CH x 60 take-offs I was told were from an XR8. I bought them for my 2005 S-Type 4.2L so I could mount a more common size tire. Because they are rare, I bought the rims before I needed new tires. Then I traded the car before installing the rims. The wheels run true, are not bent but do have slight blemishes. As you can see from the pictures, they could be refinished easily because the scratches are slight and curb rash is minimal. They were acceptable to me, so I planned to run them as is.

These wheels are listed on eBay auctions in England and are selling for 174 GBP ea which is $250 USD.

Will ship at buyers cost. The shipping cost is calculated automatically by eBay when you input the dimensions and weight of the package. It is for one (1) wheel. If you are interested in purchasing these wheels contact me and I will get you accurate shipping costs to your zip code.

One lap of the Web: A drive with Magnus and drifting an Jag XJ220

Thu, 29 Aug 2013

Unkempt Porsche trend-maker Magnus Walker's brand of customized 911 has the world buzzing. If the magazine covers and documentaries aren't enough, consider that one of his builds just sold for $302,000 at Gooding's Monterey Sale -- against a high estimate of $150,000. Pretty steep for a customized 911.

JAGUAR'S iconic 1960s E-Type has won the race to be crowned the "greatest car of all time" in a new poll of motorists. The car was put at the top of the podium from a list of 100 by more than 2,000 British drivers quizzed by One Poll for the Discovery Channel ahead of the return of its Wheeler Dealers show next week. It beat seven other British classic vehicles, including the Mini, Aston Martin DB5 and Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, to head the top 10, and also won the poll for greatest classic car.

THE AA's longest-serving patrolman is retiring after 1.4 million miles and almost 50 years on the road. Jim Haggart joined the AA in Glasgow in August 1966 as a 16-year-old cadet after spotting the opportunity in a newspaper advert. The 64-year-old has helped an estimated 87,000 motorists with car trouble - between 1,500 and 2,000 a year - around the west of Scotland, rescuing animals, young children and even babies that have been accidentally locked in vehicles.
