Warranty

A. JDM STATES, LLC. WARRANTS THAT EVERY USED ENGINE SOLD BY JDM STATES, LLC. WILL BE IN A SERVICEABLE CONDITION, KEEP IN MIND IT IS A USED IMPORTED ENGINE AND THE WARRANTY TIME LIMIT IS LISTED BELOW:
- Used Replacement Engines - 90 Days
- Used Performance Engines - 60 Days
- Rotary Engines (Mazda RX-7 13BT/13BTT/20B ) - No Warranty
- All Electrical/Electronic Parts - No Warranty
- Used Performance Transmissions - No Warranty
- Used Replacement Transmissions - 30 Days
- There is a 30 days start-up warranty on this motor. This warranty will cover that no problems will occur if the engine is installed in the vehicle properly by a certified mechanic. In the event that a part of the engine block or head is found to be defective, this part will be replaced.
- Return the product to us with the original packaging and a copy of the original receipt to the address given to you by the customer service representative. We will usually give you the address to the warehouse nearest you.
- Our warranty covers all internal engine parts. Engine block, cylinder barrels and cylinder head are also warranted to be free of cracks or distortion.
- The customer is responsible for all the freight charges on the return of defective items and no replacement part will be sent until our staff have inspected and verified the the returned defective item in question. The customer is responsible for all the shipping charges for the returned product. You must have a RA number or Return Authorization number from JDM States, LLC before you can return your product. Please have the RA number written on the outside of the package.
- We are not responsible for any labour work. Our warranty is ONLY on the motor block and head.
- Warranty is VOID if engine is blown or seized due to customer negligence - (i.e, racing, running vehicle without motor oil, high revving, etc)

B. ITEMS AND CONDITIONS COVERED BY THE LIMITED WARRANTY:
- All internal engine parts including: pistons, piston rings, piston pins, crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and rod bearings, camshaft and camshaft bearings, timing chain and timing gears, intake and exhaust valves, valve springs, seals, guides, oil pump, push rods, rocker arms and shafts. The engine block, cylinder walls and cylinder head are also warranted to be free of cracks or distortion.
- Head gaskets are warranted for 30 days only, irrespective of the application as stated in Section (A).
- JDM STATES, LLC. reserves the right to repair with rebuilt or serviceable used parts, or exchange the engine at its own discretion and determination.

C. ITEMS NOT COVERED:
- All external parts attached to the engines, e.g., intake and exhaust manifolds, carburetors, distributor, starter, emission control devices, flywheel, clutch and pressure plate, water pump, thermostat, belts, hoses, oil pan, valve cover, sensors, electronic parts(distributor, wires, Computers, injectors, etc), transmissions, drive shafts, engine mounts, half shaft, etc.

D. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
- The cost of labor required to remove and install a repaired or exchanged engine to the vehicle.
- Any damage caused by abuse, neglect, accident or natural perils.
- Loss caused by the engine being improperly installed.
- Towing charges and/or freight or delivery charges.
- Loss caused by overheating. The warranty does not cover oil leaks, blown head gasket or any other engine damage due to overheating caused by poor water circulation, clogged radiator, stuck thermostat or a faulty water pump, etc.
- Decrease in performance of any covered part due to normal wear and tear (unless actual breakdown occurs), having regard to inherent manufacturing faults in some engine models.
- Loss caused by any modification or use of the engine for which it was not originally designed.
- The engine if it is used for competitive driving or racing.
- Loss caused by the failure of a part or parts of the engine that are not covered by this limited warranty.
- Tune-ups and adjustments, filters, hoses, belts, lubricants, coolants, emission control devices, spark plugs, tune-up parts, etc.
- Deterioration or pre-ignition damage.
- Repairs performed without prior authorization from JDM STATES, LLC.
- Loss caused by defective timing belt. A brand new timing belt must be installed.
- Loss caused by modification or forced induction (NOS, Turbos, Supercharged) for which the engine was not designed.

E. LIMITATION OF DURATION:
- Repairs or exchanges will not extend this limited warranty beyond the described term on this form (Item A).

A man in the UK purchased an old Morris Isis...then forgot about it in the back of his garage for 12 years. When he rediscovered the car and cleared all the trash off, he also learned it was one of the oldest of its kind in the world. While we have a few questions, not the least of which is "how does one forget a car parked in the garage," we're pleased to see that the owner has since restored the car and plans to strap a trailer on the back and take it to the beach later this summer.

Mercedes AMG C 63 price & specs – costs from £59,795 The pinnacle of the new Mercedes C-Class range – the Mercedes-AMG C 63 – had a reveal last month ahead of its public debut in Paris (and got a new name, with ‘AMG’ hyphenated with Mercedes and in front of the ‘C 63′ bit instead of after) and it’s now gone on sale priced from £59,795 for the C 63 Saloon to £67,745 for the C 63 S Estate. Power comes from a new 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 developing 469bhp in the C 63 and a more potent 503bhp in the C 63 S, with 0-62mph times of 4.1 seconds for the C 63 (0.1 slower in the estate) and a modest 0.1 quicker in the C 63 S. Not surprisingly, the C63 gets a more than adequate spec including Nappa Leather AMG sports seats, COMAND, mechanical locking rear diff, dynamic engine mounts, unique tracks front and back, upgraded AMG brakes, quad tailpipes, new front wings to cover the wider track, rear spoiler and 18″ alloys.
