This came out of a cj-7. It sat for A couple of years and we brought it hometown start the restoration process . It took me about 30 minutes to get it running . I disconnected the gas line and put in a temporary line and gallon jug. Checked the firing order and points . Put it on a strong battery and started cranking. While cranking I put gas in the carburetor and within 5 or 6 turns it started up and ran better than anyone could expect. It reved, idled, shut right down and started right back up. It is a two barrel carb it did not smoke . The motor is complete just as shown with bell housing clutch and pressure plate. It has a three speed transmission and the transfer case. It will be all sold as a unit. I also have a good hood and front and rear axels that will be sold on another auction unless someone makes me a good offer. I have no idea of the miles on this engine . If I were to use it I would not hesitate to install it as is.

The scheme aims to offer new car buyers a guaranteed trade-in against a new, cleaner car of £2,000. But it is being suggested that the Government will insist that car manufacturers chip in half this money, with the tax payer paying the other half.
Mercedes AMG Vision Gran Turismo: 5 to be built – unless Mercedes set their lawyers loose
Thu, 12 Dec 2013There are plans to make the Mercedes AMG Vision Gran Turismo (pictured) a reality With the launch of Gran Turismo 6, Mercedes took the opportunity to build a one-off version of the Mercedes AMG Vision Gran Turismo Supercar, and took it off to the Los Angeles Auto Show to sprinkle a bit of Gran Turismo fairy dust on proceedings. There are no plans by Mercedes to build the stunning looking AMG Vision Gran Turismo, but that hasn’t stopped Florida company J & S Worldwide Holdings from stepping up and offering a short run of recreations of the car. J & S are advertising their take on the AMG Vision Gran Turismo on James List and say they are going to build just five cars – 2 for Europe, 2 for the Middle East and 1 for the USA – and say they’ve already sold one.
