This is a factory remanufactured viscous coupler for the 1993-1998 Jeep with the NP249J transfer case. We only use OE cores and American made parts and chemicals, nothing offshore. TIRES, TIRES, TIRES, AWD and fulltime 4WD vehicles require extra attention to tire size! All 4 tires must measure no more than 3/16" difference in circumference . More than this and you will damage the coupler and void the warranty.  MEASURE THE TIRES! 

 I have included two new pictures showing the design changes made to the hub. The early hub spline goes to the end and the late has a small chamfer. This machining difference does not effect the coupler fitting early or late transfercase. Both early and late viscous couplers interchange.

Our couplers come with a one year one time exchange warranty, unless it is a R&R only coupler. A R&R coupler is when we have to build your core and return it to you, (Rebuild & Return) even then you still get a one & one warranty.

 

Mercedes signs joint venture to build carbonfibre parts

Not to be outdone by BMW’s joint venture with the SGL Group to manufacturer commercially viable carbonfibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) for the electric Megacity Vehicle, Mercedes has announced a joint venture with Japanese company Toray Industries to manufacturer and market its on CFRP automotive parts. The deal was signed in Germany today, with Toray taking a 50.1% stake, Daimler holding 44.9% and the remaining 5% being taken by other shareholders. The two companies started working together in March 2010, and while Toray has been working on the materials and moulding processes, Merc has designed the automotive parts and the technologies to join the parts together.

The 2013 Buick Encore crossover will cost $24,950, including a $750 destination charge. The top trim package, called Premium, will sticker at $28,940. A 1.4-liter turbocharged engine will power the small SUV, which competes against the Acura RDX, Hyundai Tucson and the Ford Escape.

Jeff Byrd, president and general manager of Bristol Motor Speedway and Bristol Dragway, died on Oct. 17 following a long illness. Byrd, 60, had been the president of the Tennessee facilities since January 1996, when Speedway Motorsports Inc.
