Next year will be the 80th anniversary of Nissan and the new model would be a celebration of the occasion, taking the spirit of the 240Z while refreshing the original design and shape into what Nakamura hopes will be an exciting new product. We broke the news that Lamborghini were planning a roofless version of the Reventon Coupe back in March, and apart from the fact that no one believed our ‘Scoop’ – and we had Lamborghini on the phone asking us to retract the story – we were sure the information we had was real. So it was more than a little gratifying when were able to report that Lamborghini were doing a private reveal of the Reventon Roadster in July and finally the Lamborghini Reventon Roadster was launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
