Bridgeport, New Jersey, United States
Condition:Used

Listed as used but NEVER raced or even ran.  Purchased new by me in 2008 - trial fitted to my Galaxie project a coupe years back and has been sitting in my garage since.  I learned that magnesium doesn't store very well - case has dis colored.  I am told that it will clean -up, but don't have the time or inclination.  It is a "clutch" 4-speed, which I had built for a '64 Galaxie w/ 496ci FE.  Gear ratios are as follows: 3.04, 1.91, 1.33, 1.0.  This is a big spline unit.  Trans comes with Long shifter, Hurst T-handle, big throwout bearing and heavy duty yoke (all of which were purchased through Jerico).

I chickened out and decided to go with an automatic.  Per the last photo: The Quick Time Bell is currently listed here on eBay and the clutch and flywheel will soon also be listed.  The fork is also listed, however please note it is not the correct fork for this set-up into a Galaxie.

Given the weight of this trans and associated shopping costs, you may want to consider picking it up.  I live along the Delaware River 20 minutes south of Philadelphia.

Thanks for looking!  Bid with confidence!

Top-Selling Fiesta Earns Best Used Car Award From CAP

Thu, 10 Oct 2013

THE FORD Fiesta, Britain’s best-selling car, has been declared Used Car of the Year 2012 by car valuation experts CAP. Top of CAP’s criteria when choosing its Used Car of the Year were affordability, practicality, reputation and popularity in the used car market. Commenting on its decision, Mark Norman, of CAP, said: “It is always tempting for the motoring media and other industry observers to take ‘the petrol head’ approach when giving awards to cars which excite them, but the CAP Used Car of the Year Award recognises the contribution a car makes to both consumers and dealers.” Ford’s Fiesta continues to top the UK sales charts and the range is being further strengthened by the arrival of new models featuring class-leading fuel economy from six powertrains with CO2 emissions under 100g/km, as well as innovative new driver assistance and safety features.

Jaguar F-Type Coupe caught on video at Nurburgring

Wed, 03 Jul 2013

The Jaguar F-Type Coupe (pictured) testing at the Nurburgring The new Jaguar F-Type is a fine looking car, but the F-Type Coupe looks set to be the real looker, and we shouldn’t have to wait too long before the coupe hits a motor show (probably Frankfurt in September). Ahead of that reveal – with a likely on-sale date of early 2014 – Jaguar are out playing with the F-Type Coupe at the Nurburgring, blatting it round the ‘Ring’s unforgiving surfaces and bends to shake the last niggles out before launch. This particular F-Type is undoubtedly the V8 S – which we expect will get the same 495bhp output as the V8 S Roadster – and it sounds great; a wonderful V8 roar as it pounds round the track.
