Up for bid is the long shaft lower unit including the prop for a Johnson or Evinrude 9.9hp / 15hp 2-stroke outboard motor. Color tells me it's from the mid 80's but I am certain this will fit many earlier models also. What you see in the picture is what you will receive. Please check with your local dealer for your application. This lower unit seems to be in in good condition. Gear oil  and the drive shaft splines look good. Drive shaft and prop shaft turn free and she shifts fine with no issues. I would replace the impeller and gear oil prior to installing on your motor. That way you know what's been done for peace of mind out on the water. Check out my feedback as I believe it speaks for itself. Thanks for looking and good luck!!

The 207 Coupe Convertible goes on UK sale next March, priced from just under £15,000. This CC is based on the 207's stiffer, front-wheel drive chassis, and the big news is that it has an all-new roof mechanism.

The Toyota TRD GT86 – a titivated GT86 – is heading for the UK as a special edition of Toyota’s new sports car. The Toyota GT86 (and, for that matter, the Subaru BRZ) is exactly the sort of car Toyota should be building in the 21st century; good looking, fun and affordable, it fills a niche Toyota have long been absent from. The only drawback has been a feeling that the GT86 could be more aggressive than it is and, to a degree, the Toyota TRD GT86 fixes that.

GM ride-and-drive event puts interns behind the wheel

Fri, 22 Jul 2011

Interns here at AutoWeek are fortunate enough to be in and out of all sorts of cars, from the little Fiat 500 to the phenomenal Lexus LFA. But rarely do we get our own event like the Intern Ride and Drive hosted by General Motors in downtown Detroit on Friday. The event, set up and run by GM's own interns, involved summer help from local broadcast-media outlets, newspapers and many Detroit-area automotive publications.
