This auction is for a used 9.9/15HP Johnson Upper Shift Rod removed from a 1988 15HP Johnson outboard. This rod is in excellent condition. It worked perfectly when taken out of service.  It came from a 2-stroke engine that self-destructed after being run on gas with no oil mixed in. Motor ran like a champ before that time.

This rod will fit a wide range of 9.9hp & 15hp Johnson and Evinrude Outboards.  Make sure it is compatible with yours before bidding.  This rod is not normally sold as an assembly, but this one includes the bell crank.  All parts shown are included.  If it's not shown, it's not included.

The petrol car is also nicer to drive. Residual values were always a weak point with Ford.
