The engine this was removed from was running great until it seized a piston. This unit was not leaking but I would still suggest installing new seals and impeller. The oil has been drained for shipping. Happy bidding.
Brand:Johnson Stroke:2-Stroke Engine(HP):5.5

up for Auction is a complete lower unit including the drive shaft water tube, water pump, and shift shafts. NO propeller is included.

This was removed from a 1962 Johnson SeaHorse 5.5 horsepower outboard engine.  Model number CD-19 S.   This engine was running fine until a piston seized.   Exactly what is in the pictures is what will ship.   This unit was not leaking and did not have nay evidence of water in the oil when we drained it.   It was sitting in my garage for a couple of years so I would suggest installing new seals and a water pump impeller.

Please look at the photos closely and ask any questions before bidding.

ALSO:  I have many other parts for this outboard, and will be happy to list anything you need if you let me know.

thanks!

Happy bidding.

But finally - some ten years after the original plans were drawn up - the new and much improved Haynes International Museum is now open to the public.

VW to unveil Beetle Dune concept at Detroit Auto Show

Thu, 09 Jan 2014

The jury is out as to whether Volkswagen's Beetle Dune concept is more Frank Herbert or Bruce Meyers. Equipped with all mod cons, it’s a far cry from the simple, tough desert-race-inspired Bugs that popped up like aggro sandworms during the 1970s. On the other hand, it's still got four gasoline-burning cylinders and two-wheel drive.
