This is a nice clean old motor. it is the short shaft (18"), with forward & reverse, 2 cylinder. The recoil starter needs some repair, the pinon gear is not contacting the flywheel, to turn the crankshaft. (can be caused by a weak or missing spring)
According to the previous owner, this motor was only used in freshwater, (and it looks that way) I'm not going to spare any expense shipping this motor, it will take a large box and good packing to protect the motor, so the shipping may be a little pricey.. Drivers' 'huge petrol tax burden'
Mon, 03 Mar 2014BRITISH DRIVERS are still facing a huge petrol and diesel tax burden despite three years of fuel duty freezes, according to the RAC Foundation. The UK has the highest rate of diesel tax in Europe while only Sweden imposes a higher petrol tax duty than the UK, the foundation said. Its figures showed that tax accounts for 59% of the price of diesel in the UK, with Sweden (56%) second and Italy (55%) third.
