Volvo today revealed its Concept You at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show, as the company continues to evolve its luxury car range. The latest evolution of the Concept Universe, first unveiled at Shanghai earlier this year, showcases the technology and craftsmanship that Volvo will be using in its future line-up, including smart pad technology and a touch-control cockpit. Le Mans regulations for 2014 announced

The organisers of the Le Mans 24-hour have announced a raft of radical new rules on the eve of the 2012 race - including the less restricted use of hybrid power for the top-flight LMP1 racers from 2014. The governing ACO (Automobile Club de l'Ouest) unveiled the major changes due in two years' time as the teams start the 80th 24 Heures du Mans event which runs from Saturday 16 - Sunday 17 June 2012. In order to stay in tune with our environmentally-conscious, economically-chastened times, the focus of the alterations is to improve the efficiency of the elite LMP1 cars' technology and cement a link with roadgoing hybrids, as well as making the race cars safer.

Antique Automobile Club of America celebrates 75th anniversary

The 15 founders of the Antique Automobile Club of America would be proud: The organization's membership has grown to nearly 60,000 since the club launched in 1935. And to celebrate its 75th anniversary, the AACA will hold a four-day celebration, June 30-July 3, in Louisville, Ky. A car show on the last day will be the spotlight event, and more than 600 vehicles spanning more than a century will be displayed.
