Please let me apologize for the marginal pictures, my camera doesn't like shiny surfaces. Things that look coarse or rusty etc is an optical illusion. If you need additional pics or information cantact me and I will be happy to take more pics, etc, call me at 480-217-0347. This head came off a ski that had a crank seizure issue. I pulled the head apart to inspect for damage and found it to be quite good in terms of wear. First thing i did was a gasoline "leak down" on the valves. The intake held with no appreciable loss for around 10 minutes and was even on all cylinders. The exhaust held well for about 5 minutes also very even. So I determined the valves were good. However if a guy were to do a light "lap" on the valve and seat it would probably be even better. Then I pulled the cams and they looked good as well did the saddles and the top plate. Typical light wear for a low hour motor on both the cam and the saddles. No appreciable scoring or defects. I then removed the cam follower buckets marking all to keep them in their original locations. Everything looked great. I made sure to keep all shims in their original locations to keep valve lash correct. However, the end user needs to check and adjust valve lash before start up. The head was put together with only light oil, wd40 so it needs to be taken apart and thoroughly cleaned and properly lubed before assembly. I've been a mechanic for 35 years and have worked on both 2 & 4 stroke motors. This head looks good to me and should give someone another 100-200 hours of reliable use if installed correctly and taken care of properly. I have a 100% rating for a reason, I don't sell junk! From my inspection I feel this head is a very good used piece.
One thing, I misplaced the washer/grommets that go on the head cover bolts so you will need to get those but no biggie, they're inexpensive.
I realize I am asking a little more than the other listings, however, there's a reason for that. The time I spend! consider whether you want to buy a quality inspected piece or a greasy piece that the seller has no idea about? When it comes to high dollar pieces I take the time to make sure it's right.
I have all the other associated pieces and parts around the head if you want them. Head bolts, tensioner, chain, etc. if you want them let me know before ship.

These parts are from a part-out of a low hour 2007 Kawasaki STX 12F - It was in perfect running order last time it was at the lake several years ago. It sat for several years and now it's getting parted out. This ski had only 109 hours on it and was well cared for as evidenced by the parts inside and out. The jet pump is in great shape as well. This ski is out of Arizona and has only seen freshwater. I'm just getting started so ask ASAP if you want any other parts off this Jet ski's before they sell. Many of these parts may fit many different years and models.
