Fiat 500X teaser video ahead of 2014 Paris motor show

Fiat has issued this Youtube video of its new 500X crossover, which is destined to launch the Italian brand into the compact SUV market dominated by the Nissan Juke. Although an annoyingly restricted view of the 500X, it is possible to make out the silhouette and outline of the baby crossover, which goes on sale in the UK in time for the new 15-reg launch in March 2015. Ken Block & Mini-Me – the Video

Ken Block & Rob Dyrdek Driving & Drifting The last report we did on Ken Block was after he delighted Top Gear’s James May with his antics in California, but now we have what can probably best be described as a comic teaser for what will be his next big video outing – Gymkhana 3.0. In this video – dubbed Gymkhana 2.1 – Ken Block gets a new sidekick – professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek – who takes to a ‘Mini-Me’ kart version of Ken’s WRX Subaru in a playful drifting and playing game. The video is full of amusing comparisons, but just in case you don’t get it’s supposed to be funny we get treated to the Benny Hill theme tune – you know, the one where Benny gets chased in quick-time by a bunch of be-stockinged lovelies.

Jaguar C-X17 concept (2013) design boss Ian Callum on interior design

As with all concept cars, the Jaguar C-X17’s interior is the least production-viable element of the entire design, but it does give vital clues to the direction that design boss Ian Callum and his team are evaluating for the future. The focus is on clean, strong, flowing design, one that shuns clutter for pared-back simplicity. Open the door and you’ll notice both the sense of space and the small F-type steering wheel and four individual bucket seats, the latter two elements suggesting a nimble, involving driving experience.
