Kuryakyn 1220 REAR WHEEL HUB SPINNER  Fits all Harley SOFTAIL Models 1986-1999 WITH CAST WHEELS.

See my other auction for #1221 hub spinner for LACED wheel applications. (The only difference is the 1220 cast wheel version comes with longer 1 3/4" bolts that can be cut down to 1 3/8" for use on laced wheels.) The bushings are identical.

Chrome rear pulley spinner with bolts and spacers for Harley Softails with CAST wheels. New but discontinued item that is very hard to find. Fits Softails 1986-up with 3/4" axle. Will also fit other models with laced wheels but 1 3/4" bolts would need to be cut down to 1 3/8". This comes with 7/16 x 1-3/4" chrome allen head bolts and required spacers for CAST wheels. Mounts inside the rear belt pulley.

This item is designed to catch sunlight and reflect dazzling rays of light while the bike is in motion.  a nice bit of flash that reflects light nicely. Kuryakyn discontinued this part a few years ago which means it is unlikely you'll see another one on another bike.

Porsche 918 Spyder laps Nurburgring in under 7 minutes

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

The Porsche 918 Spyder (pictured) laps the Nurburgring in under 7 minutes When the McLaren P1 was first revealed, Ron Dennis told us it would lap the Nurburgring in under 7 minutes. But it seems the best the McLaren P1 has managed so far is a 7:04, so it’s no surprise McLaren hasn’t officially declared its time as they probably knew it wasn’t enough, but also knew that Porsche has managed to take the new 918 Spyder round the ‘Ring in just 6:57s. That 6:57 by the Porsche 918 Spyder isn’t quite as quick as the Radical, but as the Radical has only single type approval, Porsche are justifiably claiming the 918 Spyder’s time as the quickest by a proper production car, beating the previous record of 7:11s set by the Gumpert Apollo.

Audi R5, Porsche 550, VW Bluesport 'on hold'

Tue, 17 Jan 2012

Numerous indications are pointing to the exciting mid-engined VW, Porsche and Audi sports cars being on ice. The group had been collaborating to develop the VW Bluesport, Porsche 550 and Audi R5 - some observers had hailed the new roadsters as the Elise from Germany. Porsche doubts over the 550 But at the weekend Porsche CEO Matthias Muller told German business rag Wirtschaftswoche that he was worried a cheaper Porsche may dilute the brand's image.

VW Polo R confirmed for 2013

Mon, 16 May 2011

VW Polo WRC makes the case for the 4WD VW Polo R We speculated a year ago that the Polo GTI wouldn’t be the top of the Polo tree, and that Volkswagon would roll out the VW Polo R in 2012, but perhaps with FWD instead of the 4WD its big brother, the Golf R, enjoys. But just a few months later it seemed clear that we would end up getting a 4WD Polo R at some point after Audi lost its bottle at the last minute and pulled the Audi S1 badge off a FWD A1, instead calling it the Audi A1 1.4 TFSI. That change of heart by Audi – saving the S1 badge for a quattro S1 – meant that a quattro platform would be developed for the S1, and as the A1 uses the Polo platform it meant a 4WD platform would be available for the Polo too.
