here we have an original FAIREY overdrive
worked great when taken off my land rover which i sold.
comes with clutch sleeve handles etc.
also included will be the mounting instructions  and thick grease for  greasing the top bearing and clutch sleeve.
oil is drained out for transport  was nice and clean when drained.
this overdrive will reduce engine rpm with 27% and so fuel consumption and gives you enough speed to come along on the highway.

Longest ever period of UK new car sales growth

The SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders) has released the new car registration data for May 2014, and revealed that the UK new car market is officially experiencing its longest period of growth since records began. Sales in May were up 7.7% compared to 2013 – making it the 27th consecutive month that figures have increased. A grand total of 194,032 new cars registered also represents the most units sold in May since 2004.

GM taps Opel designs for future Buicks in the U.S.

Even as General Motors explores the sale of Opel, it will tap its European unit as a source for future Buick sedans. For the past two years, GM has shared Opel vehicles and design with Saturn. Sources familiar with GM's plans say those products now will go to Buick.
