Here at Car Design News we're big fans of Depth of Speed: the combination of great cinematography, beautiful cars and interesting people makes for compelling viewing. Its latest video, ‘Taking the Plunge', features Eric Bauer, a digital modeler, Art Center instructor and CDN contributor and his glorious 1970 Nissan Skyline. It didn't place its product in a show, which has become more and more common. “We can take my Prius, it has navigation!” And it didn't quite make a commercial spot, in the traditional sense, at least.

Saab gets funds from North Street Capital Last week we had Saab and their Chinese ‘backers’ getting in a bit of a muddle over funding. Which is what we’ve come to expect. Saab were adamant that the quote attributed to the Pangda Chairman that the Saab deal was no longer valid was a ‘misunderstanding’.
