BMW's EfficientDynamics concept car will star alongside Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol, the next installment in the series of hit Hollywood blockbusters. Chosen for its embodiment of the latest technologies – not to mention its avantgarde aesthetic – the BMW EfficientDynamics was first displayed at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show. "With its futuristic design and large glass surfaces, the car offers a fascinating perspective on the future of sheer driving pleasure - in combination with maximum efficiency," said Ian Robertson, BMW AG Board Member for Sales and Marketing.

Holden Calais unveiled, previews Chevrolet SS

General Motors' Australian subsidiary, Holden, has revealed its new VF series Calais -- the rear-wheel-drive sedan that in top-of-the-line, V8-powered, left-hand-drive form -- will be exported to North America and sold as the Chevrolet SS. The new Calais sits at the top of what Holden describes as an “extensively upgraded Commodore” range, with right-hand-drive Australian sales set to get underway in June. The Holden Commodore and its more luxurious Calais derivative have underpinned General Motors' sales in Australia since its introduction in 1978.

BMW has revealed the M3 Edition Models - available for just 6 months BMW has released details of a quartet of BMW M3 Edition cars, which is a cosmetic job on the already pretty impressive M3 Coupe. For BMW to do this you’ve probably got to assume that sales on the BMW M Cars are a bit slow at the moment, despite the constant upward growth in the last few years. But never mind, it’s not a bad way to go, and the cars do look pretty good.
