This is a right & left 1934 Ford horns, might also be 1933. They are in overall good condition. The bell on one is very nice, the other has a couple of bent spots on the edge (see pictures) which should be able to be straightened out and be fine. The curved portion of the bell appears to be original paint, are straight, and in good condition. The horn mechanism in both horns are not rusted, like you usually find. I do not know if they work, but they appear to be repairable if they do not. The top covers both need to be replaced. The mounting brackets are good. Any questions, please contact me. I accept Pay Pal.

Abarth Fiat 500 Convertible confirmed. Punto Abarth coming?

Mon, 12 Oct 2009

It looks like plans for an Abarth version of the 500C for 2010 are confrmed But a successful model is always going to spawn whatever variants a car maker can viably muster, so our report in July that we will see an Abarth version of the 500C in Spring 2010 – probably at the Geneva Motor Show – now seem to have been confirmed as ‘jokeforblog’ has published pictures of what seems to be a road-ready Abarth Convertible at Abarth’s facility. Now that will be a bunch of fun – and just in time for next Summer. Spy shot of the Abarth 500 Cabriolet It also now seems likely that Fiat are pushing ahead with a new Abarth version of the Punto.

The Great Texas Beer Run

Thu, 17 Feb 2011

For reasons still not clear, boatloads of German immigrants made Texas their home in the 1800s. What they thought they would find similar to their cold, richly forested homeland in the hellaciously hot, mes-quite-scrub, rattlesnake-filled Texas Hill Country is lost to history. Worse, they brought almost nothing with them from the Old World to remind them of home.

Video: Chip Foose talks about, renders his first VW Golf

Thu, 19 Jan 2012

In order to promote the launch of the Golf R in the US, Volkswagen has created a series of videos featuring fans of the iconic Euro hatch for a new iPad app. Here Chip Foose, founder of Foose Design and presenter of hit TV show, Overhaulin', tells the story of his first VW Golf, a 1985 GTI. But the highlight of the video is watching Foose produce a marker rendering of the MkII GTI in his own distinct style, usually associated with the hotrod scene.
