Range Rover Evoque Price: An Evoque for under £28k

Mon, 04 Apr 2011

The Range Rover Evoque finally gets a price in the UK - from £28k (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({}); We’re beginning to wonder if any car launch has been as long and drawn out as that of the Range Rover Evoque. What we now know as the Evoque kicked off over three years ago as the Land Rover LRX, but turned in to the Evoque at a publicity bash at Kensington Palace last Summer. Since then we’ve had endless stories (well, around 40 since the Evoque was named) covering everything from the Evoque engine and model detail through to the 3-door Evoque (the Evoque Coupe) and the 5-door Evoque being revealed at different times.

Citroen C3 e-HDi 70 Airdream EGS VTR+ emits just 87g/km CO2

Tue, 08 Nov 2011

Citroen C3 e-HDi 70 Airdream EGS VTR+ emits just 87g/km (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({}); You do have to wonder sometimes just how much we actually need expensive technology like hybrid powertrains and EVs when cars with conventional ICE engines can manage ridiculous mpg and emit little Co2- cars like the Citroen C3 e-HDi 70 Airdream EGS VTR+. Citroen has announced that their super-frugal C3 with a ridiculously long name (which fortunately doesn’t seem to be painted on the boot lid) and which was first seen at the Frankfurt Motor Show back in September, is now on sale in the UK. The figures for the C3 e-HDI really are quite remarkable.

McLaren 650S Sprint revealed – debuts at Pebble Beach

Tue, 12 Aug 2014

The McLaren 650S Sprint arrives to hit the track The arrival of the McLaren 650S in February (and the end of the 12C, unless it’s being replaced by the McLaren 625C) meant, in all probability, that the various hardcore versions of the 12C would be replicated for the 650S. (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});We’ve already has the new McLaren 650S GT3 at Goodwood this year, and now we get the car that fills the gap between the 650S and GT3 version for McLaren owners to take to the track – the McLaren 650S Sprint. The 650S Sprint – which we assume replaces the 12C Sprint – keeps the 650S’s 641bhp V8 but adds a hefty dose of track specific updates to make the Sprint more focused and with sharper responses.
