When a car's suspension is upgraded with lowering springs, the result is a lower ride height, a more aggressive look, and better handling due to the lowered center of gravity. While those things are great improvements for the car, the tires suffers from increased wearing and tearing since the tires will slant inwards towards the inside fender. California car dealer buys cache of Ferraris
Fri, 05 Feb 2010A collection of 21 Ferraris has changed hands, and it's headed for the United States. Car collector Tom Price, owner of Price Family Dealerships in Marin County, Calif., bought 21 classic Ferraris. The collection hit the market last year as Dutch vehicle-distributor Kroymans entered into bankruptcy.

Essentially the Ecoflex is a 158bhp 2.0-litre CDTi Insignia, but an army of now-familiar C02-slashing improvements have been swung into action. These improvements include under-car panelling and a lower ride height to help the Insignia cut through air more cleanly (the drag factor falls from 0.27Cd to 0.26), plus lower rolling resistance Michelin tyres.
Hyundai Genesis, Ford F-150 win awards at the Detroit auto show
Sun, 11 Jan 2009On Sunday of the Detroit Auto Show, Hyundai Genesis won the 2009 North American Car of the Year award, nipping the Ford Flex by a miniscule nine-point margin. The redesigned Ford F-150 pickup, the odds-on favorite in the truck category, was named 2009 North American Truck of the Year. Genesis beat out the Flex and the third-place finisher, the Volkswagen Jetta TDI, despite being the first Korean car ever nominated for the award.
