This listing is for ONE "Locking" air control valve for ALL  Full-Hydraulic Lifts.  The valve features three 1/2" NPT ports....side air inlet from the air compressor line - bottom outlet to the cylinder and a side port for your exhaust muffler.

PLEASE NOTE: This air valve requires an Air Muffler.  The air valve will perform without an air muffler but the exhaust process will be very loud.  You can either reuse your old muffler or purchase a new one from our other listing.

This valve is "Locking".   You should have an existing oil control valve next to your air control valve.  The air control valve "locks" to pressurize or exhaust the pressure from an oil reservoir tank located either in the ground or above.  The oil control valve does the actual raising and lowering of the lift.

On a semi-hydraulic lift (one that only has an air valve - NO oil control valve) the operator is required to the hold down the handle while raising and lowering. This is for safety reasons.  "Locking" style air control valves are used on all Full-Hydraulic lifts that use an Oil Control Valve for raising and lowering.

Check out our Air Muffler listing to complement your purchase with this valve.  Auto Lift Parts carries a full line of In-Ground parts and accessories.  Keep your low-pressure In-ground lift running.  Call us for your parts!  We know In-ground Lifts!!!

Aston Martin and Mercedes tie-up over Lagonda

Mon, 09 Mar 2009

Probably the biggest surprise of the Geneva Motor Show was the arrival of the Lagonda Concept. Although the revival of the Lagonda Marque had been much speculated upon, particularly with Lagonda celebrating its 100 year car making anniversary this year (an all the marketing opportunities that offers) no one had seen a super-luxo SUV on the horizon. Lagonda Concept - Based on the Mercedes Benz GL Most car journos attending, us included, did react fairly negatively.
