GMC Granite concept (w/ Video)

The biggest surprise at the 2010 NAIAS was GMC's Granite concept - a design that expands (or rather contracts) the truck/crossover brand's 'professional grade' philosophy to a compact hatchback aimed at urban hipsters and early adopters. Conceived by Frank Saucedo's Advanced Design team in California and then built at GM's Design Center in Detroit, the Granite combines the basic proportions of the Nissan Cube and Scion xB with a military/industrial feel inspired by the current G-Star and Diesel fashion lines. 2015 Nissan 370Z Nismo facelift revealed It’s only a year or so since the new Nissan 370Z Nismo arrived in the UK, but Nissan is already rolling out a new and improved version. The cosmetic tweaks are the usual fodder of a new front bumper – which takes its cues from the GT-R – new LED running lights, red highlights for the vents, new side sills and door mirrors and a smaller spoiler than before. On the inside, the changes amount to red and black leather, Alcantara and a new set of Recaros.

Porsche Panamera will debut in Shanghai in April It’s a sign of the growing importance of the Chinese market that Porsche has chosen to launch the car officially in China. Even the Chinese car market is suffering at the moment, but the simple fact is that with such a huge population, and a Chinese DNA that seems to predispose them to commerce now they are allowed to ‘Trade’ once again, there will probably be more potential Porsche buyers in China in the next 10 years than in the rest of the world combined. So suck-up now seems a good motto.
