I think there is 38 pulloffs in total. All are metal or plastic style pull-offs All are vintage pulloffs that seem to function fine, its just that the finish does not look fresh/new. Some have corrosion, some are oxidized but they all seem functional. (see photos) Most are in original boxes, Boxes show shelf wear and some look like they may of gotten damp at one point in time. Perfect for rebuilder or some one that wants to clean up finish with wire wheel. Box with all pulloffs shown in weighs 9 pounds. Dimension of box in photo is 19" x 13" x 6" Note: 2 Photos show all pulloffs in box , I also show 2 photos of a group of pulloffs removed from their individual boxes and last photo shows remainder of pulloffs still in box. New car sales in UK still growing – up 14.8% April 2013. Driven by PPI Claims?
Wed, 08 May 2013It is quite hard to fathom just how UK new car sales (well, registrations) continue to rise inexorably against a backdrop of otherwise stagnant economic activity, but they do. April 2013 has seen a total of 163,357 new car registrations, up a huge 14.8 per cent on April 2012 and the best figure since 2008, and these sales figures are not being driven by fleet buyers but by private motorists – private sector registrations grew by 32.3 per cent in April and are up by 15.2 per cent year to date. Not surprisingly, it’s the Superminis that are performing strongly – although all sectors are showing a rise – and it’s the Ford Fiesta that continues to be the best seller in the UK with sales of over 8,000 in April and over 42,000 so far in 2013, and the rise of superminis has also seen an increase in sales of petrol-engined cars thanks to the wave of small capacity, frugal petrol options.
Ford B-Max
Wed, 01 Feb 2012A production version of the Ford B-Max mini-MPV will make its debut at next month's Geneva motor show – one year after the concept was announced. The production B-Max stays true to the 2011 concept, with the same lack of a B-pillar between the conventional front and sliding rear doors, which creates a 1,500mm aperture. We'll be interested to learn how this affects both weight and rigidity as well as how much real-world advantage it offers.
New Vauxhall Astra (2010) – the Tease
Tue, 12 May 2009The new Vauxhall Astra - teased ahead of a launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show [ad#ad-1] You’d think Vauxhall would have better things to do with the current GM mess than torment buyers with teaser shots of the new Vauxhall Astra. But, just like every other car maker lately, they seem to think that this is the way to lead-in to a launch. This time we’ve got a variation on a theme, with the New Astra being ‘Disguised’ by getting the car’s designers to drape themselves (and their paperwork) strategically over the car.
