Complete Set of Brackets and All Mounting Hardware

LS1 Motor Mount adapter plate. Used to retrofit the popular LS1 base engines into 60's, 70's,80's and early 90's vehicles that utilize the three bolt motor mount, such as small and big block Chevy, and some V-6 mounts. All hardware included with my plates are either GR 8 or 10.9 Hardened.  Plates are plasma machined out of 3/8” A36 steel. All the components we machine are drawn in 3D and programmed into the machine using the latest cad/cam software. Ensuring the highest quality part possible nothing is worse than getting ready to drop in an engine and not getting it to bolt up due to an inexperienced machine shop hand drilling your parts.

Our adapter plates are then powder coated and baked in the powder coating oven at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. The normal color used is jet black however if you would like your brackets powder coated a different color e-mail me for a quote.

Please feel free to email me with any questions regarding these adapter plates.

Saab 9-3: is this the new 2013 hatch?

Tue, 01 Nov 2011

Is this the new Saab 9-3? Contained in Saab's business plan submitted to the Swedish National Debt Office was this grainy image of what purports to be the new 2013 9-3. If it is indeed a model of the finished 9-3, then it shows that the 2011 Phoenix concept car was influential in guiding what should become Saab's best-seller.

Ferrari P540 Superfast Aperta (2009) first pictures

Mon, 14 Dec 2009

A bespoke Ferrari built by the Italian supercar manufacturer's secretive Special Projects department has undergone its first shakedown test at the Fiorano test track. The Pininfarina-designed P540 Superfast Aperta was comissioned in 2008 by the necessarily wealthy Edward Walson, son of John Walson, the inventor of cable television. Based on the 599 GTB Fiorano, the one-off machine was inspired by a Carrozzeria Fantuzzi-designed model featured in the 1968 Fellini film Toby Dammit. 'I had always dreamed of designing sports cars,' said Watson. 'When I saw this film the decision came of its own accord: one day I would have 'my' Ferrari.

Getting schooled at the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Experience

Thu, 04 Mar 2010

You don't need snow or ice to enjoy the thrills of sliding an all-wheel-drive car sideways, as evidenced by a day at the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Experience at Infineon Raceway. The class, operated by the instructors of the Jim Russell USA Racing Drivers School, involves time on coned-lined paddock courses and a large skid pad. But the real fun comes when you put what you've learned to good use on one of the country's most fun racetracks, the 2.52-mile 12-turn Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, Calif.
