First and for most i am a car guy. I designed/manufactured these brackets for my own car originally. When searching for a bracket for my own swap i decided i wasn't going to pay an outrageous price for a Throttle cable bracket and decided to start producing them. These brackets are 100% made in America. These are not some cheap Chinese brackets shipped in from over seas. Purchasing this bracket as apposed to the competition actually puts money back in the pockets of Americans. Support your local Speed freak and buy a bracket for your swap!

These brackets are made from high strength steel. These brackets utilize your FACTORY hardware They are manufactured using a CNC press break. These Throttle cable brackets are also CNC laser cut for perfection. Further more i have coated them in a flat black PC called (TEX2) this coating gives the appearance of plastic. This will match your intake manifold very well.

This throttle cable WILL  fit under your coil covers. This bracket WILL accommodate Large aftermarket and factory injectors. This bracket WILL accommodate aftermarket Throttle cables such as Lokar etc. This bracket WILL accommodate all factory./aftermarket Throttle bodies. I machined the mounting holes slightly larger so you can move the bracket around to accommodate different sized injectors. This bracket will be almost invisible once everything is said and done.

This bracket will fit the following intake manifolds:

LS1
LS2
LS3
LS6
L76

UK car sales up 11% in May (2013)

Thu, 06 Jun 2013

The Ford Fiesta (pictured) was again the best selling car in the UK The rise and rise of new car registrations in the UK continues to defy the rest of the economy, with figures up in May 2013 by 11 per cent year on year, and private sales up a massive 20.9 per cent to levels last seen in 2007. It’s the fifteenth month in succession new car registration have risen in the UK, with sales for May at 180,111 and total sales to date in 2013 hitting almost 1 million units, at 948,666. The SMMT think the big jump in private registrations is down to a number of factors, including cars bought under the scrappage scheme now being traded in for a new car, strong incentives from car makers and the promise of new cars offering lower running costs, and they’re probably right, although there are other factors in play too.

One Lap of the Web: Rolls-Royce in Thailand, 130-mph lawn mowers and Formula One in Canada

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

We spend a lot of time on the Internet -- pretty much whenever we're not driving, writing about or working on cars. Since there's more out there than we'd ever be able to cover, here's our daily digest of car stuff on the Web you may not otherwise have heard about. -- Check out some factoids about Formula One in Canada and how drivers have faired at Canadian tracks over time.

One Lap of the Web: A wiseguy in a Cadillac

Fri, 02 May 2014

-- Not many car reviews feature a shot-for-shot remake of "Goodfellas." (We're still banking on Ford's re-introduction of the Crown Victoria for a shot-for-shot remake of Beastie Boys' "Sabotage.") Matt Farah of the Smoking Tire did for its review of the Cadillac CTS V-Sport, which took four days to shoot and six to edit, and probably three more to steal the dolly cam from Scorsese's basement. -- You might not remember the Saturn Pioneer, but back in 1979, "the new marque Saturn was developed to play on the increased attention to astronomy NASA's deep space probes were generating," writes automotive historian/inveterate liar Jason Torchinsky. One of GM's many H-Body cars, the Pioneer -- named after the probe, not the Probe -- carried an innovative version of GM's venerable "Iron Duke": it had both a carburetor and throttle-body fuel injection, which undoubtedly added needless complexity that could have better served the real Rocket Division, Oldsmobile.
