This auction is for a new 2500lb winch designed to fit the M274 military mule. The winch mounts to the front or rear of the Mule with the rear hitch mount , sold separately. Read the instructions carefully and be sure you understand the duty cycle instructions and you will have years of use.

The specs on the winch are;

Power in/out for positive load control
5/32 in x 50 feet aircraft grade wire rope
Single-stage planetary gear system for fast line speed
Permanent magnet motor draws less current, ideal for ATV use
Free spooling for fast line-out
Roller fairlead size 5 in. x 2.78 in. x 1 3/4 in.
6 ft. battery cables for convenient installation
Remote control works up to 20 ft. away.

We’ve had a real spate of car ‘World Record’ stuff lately, with Mercedes catching a golf ball in an SLS driven by David Coulthard and MINI breaking a parking record. And now it’s Nissan’s turn.

Possible Ferrari F70 tester spotted

The above photos of what very well might be a development mule for the next primo Ferrari —likely to be called the F70—were recently posted on the Ferrari 4/5 Competizone Facebook page. The future F70 is expected to be a front-runner in the competition between the very best cost-no-object supercars. The F70 will feature a 7.3-liter V12 coupled to a kinetic-energy-recovery system, a combination that will be good for 920 hp.

PRE-WAR CARS MAY GET MOT TEST EXEMPTION

PRE-WAR vehicles may have their requirement for an annual MoT test removed, it has been suggested. A meeting between Transport Minister Mike Penning and members of the All Party Parliamentary Historic Vehicles Group, led by Lord Montagu of Beaulieu, has resolved to address the issue. The extremely low accident rate for such vehicles, the vast majority of which are kept in pristine condition by avid collectors, means there is little need for a MoT test, the group argued.
