Mercedes SLS AMG DROPPED in the U.S.

In what seems a strange move, MBUSU – Mercedes in the States – is dropping the SLS AMG from its range in favour of the SLS AMG GT. When the Mercedes SLS AMG GT was revealed last week we were sure it was a new addition to the SLS range; a more edgy SLS for those wanting a bit more hard-core from their SLS and willing to dig a bit deeper to have one. Honda have introduced a new 'Sporty' Civic - The Honda Civic Si The new Honda Civic Si is being made available across the whole five-door Civic range, regardless of engine or transmission. From which you would conclude, quite rightly, that this is a cosmetc ‘Sports’ job, not a power one. So you get some upgraded Graphite-coloured alloys (16″ on the 1.4 litre and 17″ on bigger engined variants), colour-coded bumpers, front fogs, Type R style mesh grill and dark chrome door handles and fuel cap.

Subaru has revealed more details (and more teaser pictures) of its Cosworth-tuned Impreza. Called the Cosworth Impreza STI CS400, Subaru promises its four-wheel drive hot hatch will have ‘supercar-humbling pace’ and, presumably, be quick enough to match the Mitsubishi Evo X FQ-400 too. Near enough – this Cosworth-tweaked Impreza has 400PS.
