Lotus Elise Club Racer (2011) at 2011 Geneva motor show

The Lotus Elise Club Racer is the latest variation on the long-serving Elise, which will debut at the 2011 Geneva motor show. The Elise Club Racer marks a return to old-school values for Lotus, with some 24kg of extraneous weight removed from the 15-year-old Elise; and added hardware tweaks to ensure the well-regarded roadster retains its performance edge.

Fiat, Mazda to jointly develop roadster

Fiat Group and Mazda Motor Corp. plan to develop and build a new roadster for the Mazda and Alfa Romeo brands, the companies said Wednesday. Alfa will launch its version of the roadster in global markets starting in 2015.

2013 Acura RDX to start at $35,205

Acura announced on Thursday that the 2013 RDX crossover will start at $35,205 including an $885 destination fee. That's a significant jump over the current Acura RDX, which starts at $33,780 including destination. Granted, the extra money buys you two more cylinders: The 2013 RDX features a new 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 33 more horses than the outgoing model, for a total of 273 hp.
