This is a great Tool Kit that we bought from a former Bora owner. The Tool Kit is appropriate for any 70s or 80s Maserati. What distinguishes this kit from most is the overall very fine , original condition condition of the tools and the folio case. The first thing you would notice is that the folio is in Perfect / Used Condition. Minor imperfection only. The folio rolls up into a nicely tight and squared-away roll. The buckles and straps are solid and intact adding to the general well cared for appearence. The tools are all clean , right and tight. There is an very important " Upgrade " feature to this kit. The kit has a set of Gedore Vanadium Wrenches in the perfect MM selection range.........a much more usable and presentable set for the serious owner , nine wrenches in all ! Sizes are = 24 / 19 , 19 / 17 , 17 / 13 , 13 / 10 , 11 / 10  MM. Then in single head = 9 , 10 , 11 , 13 MM. This a very sharp set of wrenches.

This is the finest kit we have been able to find in the last five years. This kit just has the extra " feel " to it.

J.

Rockin' Supercar: The Rebirth, Short Life, and Death of a Shark-Fin-Equipped '85 Toyota Tercel Wagon

Fri, 18 Apr 2014

Sometimes a very ordinary car becomes something special, maybe even loved, but that's not always enough to keep it out of the jaws of the crusher. This is the story of a second-gen Toyota Tercel wagon (known in Japan as the Sprinter Carib) and its journey from auction to lumber-hauler to kid transportation to a Chinese steel factory. Around the turn of the century, while I was working at a doomed dot-com in San Francisco's South of Market neighborhood, I discovered that the city auctioned off all the unclaimed tow-away cars every week at nearby Pier 70.

Meet the Jaguar/Land Rover smartphone

Fri, 10 Jan 2014

Jaguar Land Rover has announced a whole new host of apps that'll be available in vehicles by both brands later this year via the InControl smartphone integration system. With the help of Bosch and a number of third-party app developers, Jaguar and Land Rover will debut integrated in-vehicle app connectivity for phones with the Android operating system, as well as for Apple's iOS. Jaguar Land Rover is the latest company to bring apps to cars' infotainment systems, an innovation that will either greatly reduce distracted driving and make crucial information much more easily accessible or cause drivers to completely ignore the act of driving altogether.

More than 1,000 Porsche 911 to celebrate 50th anniversary at 2013 Silverstone Classic

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

Classic Porsche 911s will be at the Silverstone Classic Anniversary Parde Ferrari managed a record parade of 964 Ferraris at Ferrari’s 2012 Racing Days at Silverstone last year and now, with 2013 being the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Porsche 911, Silverstone are planning a parade of over 1,000 911s at this year’s Silverstone Classic. Mind you, with over 800,000 Porsche 911s produced since the first 911 arrived in 1963, it will have been a lot easier to find 911s than it was Ferraris. In fact, it’s been so easy the applications to take part by 911 owners has been oversubscribed.
