Crash deaths down 40% since 1960

Since 1960, the number of annual deaths from collisions in England and Wales has fallen by 41%, researchers said. There were 1,647 deaths from a road traffic accident in 1960 and 964 deaths in 2009, according to an article published online in Emergency Medicine Journal.

The dual-fuel Impala, to be announced today by CEO Dan Akerson at a conference here, will have one engine and two fuel tanks -- one for gasoline and one for compressed natural gas.
