Tax discs will be scrapped in October: do you know the rules?

Paper tax discs will soon be scrapped forever, but a survey of drivers has found that a half are clueless about the new rules. The survey, of more than 1,000 people, suggests that the DVLA has failed to efficiently inform motorists of the changes – despite them coming in from the 1 October 2014. Who's Where: Mamoru Aoki and Koji Nagano promoted to Nissan executive design directors

Mamoru Aoki and Koji Nagano have been promoted to Nissan executive design directors, reporting to head of design Shiro Nakamura. Mamoru Aoki is now responsible for the design and development of all Nissan brand passenger and electric vehicles as well as design strategy and is based at the carmaker's Design Center in Atsugi, Japan. Koji Nagano – previously design director at Infiniti – now manages the design development of the new Datsun brand and Nissan brand light commercial vehicles.

Peugeot teases Onyx supercar concept

Peugeot has teased a supercar concept dubbed the Onyx ahead of its world debut at this month's Paris motor show. The Onyx will be further developing the supercar concepts that we've seen the automaker unveil in the past – such as the SR1 convertible and the EX1 electric racer – and is likely to indicate Peugeot's future design language as well as that of the RCZ's successor. From the teaser images we can see that the Onyx has the classic supercar wedge shape with a cab-forward design and a rear spoiler that rises at high speeds.
