The final batch of convertible Swedish metal will be sold through 87 Saab authorised repairers in lieu of a dealer network. This is being led by the C200, a Nissan Qashqai-style crossover SUV that will come in both two -and four-wheel drive formats. Production of Ssangyong’s first ever monocoque car starts in November 2009 and it’ll be on sale in the UK for March 2010, promising a cheap alternative to traditional makers.
Spyker slaps GM with $3 billion lawsuit
Mon, 06 Aug 2012Spyker, the Dutch supercar firm and owner of Saab, hit General Motors with a $3 billion lawsuit Monday, claiming GM forced Saab into bankruptcy and interfered with a potential deal with Chinese investors that could have saved the company. Spyker is suing on behalf of Saab, assuming legal costs in exchange for a significant proportion of any potential award. Saab went into bankruptcy in December 2011.
