For sale is a USED VDO fuel gauge that mounts in the dash on a Mercedes 190 SL.  This was removed from a 1957 Mercedes 190 SL but will also work on other year and model vintage Mercedes.   The part number on the face of the gauge is 121 542 0103 and it is date stamped 7/57.  We are unable to test this gauge.  We are selling this item as is as pictured.  Stock#032715

Buick to launch IntelliLink on 2012 models

Buick is launching a connectivity feature on its 2012 models as the brand looks to attract younger and tech-savvy customers--and to shed its sometime stodgy image. Called IntelliLink, the connectivity technology arrives as standard equipment on the 2012 Verano sedan, before being added to the Regal and the LaCrosse. The Enclave SUV gets it in 2013.

Volkswagen chose the Qatar motor show to debut its new XL1 Super Efficient Vehicle. The latest evolution of the SEV niche – that stretches back to the 1-liter concept of 2002 – makes extensive use of lightweight materials and hybrid technologies to offer a reported 313mpg. The car's exterior is a clear evolution of the tandem seat L1 from 2009.

2012 Hyundai Veloster stickers at $18,060

Hyundai has set the base price of the 2012 Veloster with six-speed manual transmission at $18,060, including destination. The three-door Veloster will also be available with six-speed EcoShift dual-clutch transmission for $19,310. Hyundai says it means for the front-wheel-drive car to appeal to the same group of buyers as the Mini Cooper, the Volkswagen Beetle and the Scion tC.
