Legit 280sl 130-983 engine as removed from a running and driving car about 7 years ago -this was a good running engine when removed from the car - which was to undergo a body and interior restoration only to then never take place !
Manufacturer Part Number:130 983 10 002973 Country/Region of Manufacture:Germany Interchange Part Number:130.983 280 SL Pagoda Part Brand:Mercedes Warranty:Yes

 MERCEDES 1969 280SL  COMPLETE ENGINE
RUNNING WHEN REMOVED FROM CAR for a full
restoration of the body and interior as engine was just fine !
Engine # 130 983 10 002973

This was removed about 6 years ago when the car was going to be restored
It was a good running and driving car just needing restoration of the
body and interior  - the car was dismantled and never restored !
I sold the body and many of the other parts from this car and was
keeping this for my own restoration but have now sold off all of the 280sl's I had in stock
so have no use for it now !

I would have no problem dripping this into any 113 as it is shown except for
the common issues with the fuel injection pumps ( if they have been sitting for
years ) which is the injection pump should be cleaned up and tested
before use - again very common - even rebuilt pumps that sit too long can need
refreshing ! Ask you 113 Pagoda experts

Mobile phones set to be biggest roads killer

Wed, 23 Jul 2014

MOBILE PHONES are likely to be the number one cause of fatal collisions on the UK’s roads by 2015. The number of drivers making calls, texting and using social media while driving has risen dramatically, which has led Transport Minister Patrick McLoughlin to propose doubling the number of penalty points added to a driver’s licence if caught using a mobile phone while at the wheel. Figures from the Department for Transport show there were 378 accidents in 2012 that were directly attributed to mobile phone use, with 17 deaths recorded as a result.

Opel/Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer arrives to take on the Allroad

Wed, 03 Jul 2013

The Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer arrives (Opel version pictured) to take on the Allroad It  always seem likely that Vauxhall and Opel would add some butch bits to the Insignia Sports Tourer at some point to create an ‘Allroad’ version. And here it is – the Vauxhall Insignia Country Tourer. Actually, Vauxhall hasn’t managed to get their Box Brownies out yet so what we’ve got are photos of the Opel version of the Country Tourer, but bar the badges they’ll be the same.
