Up for auction here is a very nice Mercedes Benz W126 aluminum Air Cleaner assembly. I got this off a mid 80's 500SEL, but I believe it is was used on other M.B. models from 1984-1991. I took a close up of the part numbers on the lid of the unit, hopefully they tell you more than they do me.  There is a filter that comes with the assembly, but it is used. It still appears to have life left in it. The assembly does not have any gouges or dents in the body. I cleaned the lid a little bit with some polish and it started to shine up well. If it was polished with a buffer it would really pop.  I am not to familiar with Mercedes Benz parts and what they go to or are used on. So please look at the photo's and be sure that the assembly is correct for your application before placing any bid. Thanks for looking.

-- You don't see a Packard-powered hot rod very often, and we have to wonder why. Stuff your Ford flatheads, ditch your boring V8s! Few things in the world are cooler than eight cylinders lined up in unwavering authority, to the tune of 327ci, with a McCullough supercharger feeding four Stromberg 97 carburetors above aluminum heads.
