Mercedes Benz SL Typ R129 Roof Top Control Unit.

This unit was taken out of a SL600 1997. The Roof Top Control Unit is a small, highly sophisticated computer which controls the automatic soft top operations. It lowers the windows, opens the storage compartment, folds the roof down and closes the storage compartment and vice versa. The list price for this unit at a Mercedes Benz dealer is $4,190. I sell this unit as 'for parts' because I can't check it since it's not installed anymore. It worked fine before. The unit is in perfect optical conditions and is still sealed. Units with a broken seal will not be serviced by Mercedes Benz.

Please make sure you check the part number: 129 820 39 26. There are different models available. This one is from a SL 600.

No warranty, no returns. Good luck.

By Guy Bird Motor Shows 13 September 2007 02:11 There’s no ‘F’ in Scuderia? Ferrari is at pains to point out that the third V8 in its family – the F1-inspired new 430 Scuderia – 'is not just a stripped-out version of the F430'. So it has dropped the ‘F’ to stress the 430 Scuderia’s more separate nature.
