Here is the history of this module, one year ago i bought a SLK 230, model 2001, as a project, one of few things that needed repair was the lock system, (door, central lock, dome light, alarm) so after a lot of reading and checking the old module, which was with sings of wet, i bought this module, which i put in the car, but the system was  not working yet, so i bought another module thinking that was the problem, but after installing the second module the system was not working, so finally i went to the dealer and bought a new key, and voila, everything works now, so i check the module wich im selling now, and it works fine. I paid for this 350 usd a year ago, so mi loss is your gain.
I could answer any question  about this, in order to asure this module works perfect.

Federal U.S. safety officials have launched an investigation into potential headlamp failures on the sixth-generation Chevrolet Corvette. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has received 30 consumer reports that both low beam headlights will shut off while driving at night, without warning.
