Peugeot SXC concept car (2011) first official pictures

Peugeot will show this SXC crossover concept at next week’s 2011 Shanghai auto show. It’s a large hybrid 4x4 designed in Peugeot’s Chinese styling studio and shows a few pointers for how a future crossover could look. We’ll take that to mean the next 4007 then.

VW Beetle Dune to go on sale in early 2016

The news means that a VW Beetle Dune very like the concept car you see here will be in showrooms in early 2016. The VW board approved the Beetle Dune at a meeting in May 2014, CAR understands.

Infiniti's 2013 luxury EV: the teaser sketch

Infiniti has released a teaser sketch of its upcoming electric vehicle. Revealed at the opening of Infiniti’s second UK dealership, at Piccadilly in London, the single image previews a ‘luxury’ EV that Infiniti promises will be launched in 2013. Underneath it’s essentially a Nissan Leaf, but as you can see from the sketch it won’t look like a re-nosed Nissan.
