Rolls Royce EX200 (RR4 / Ghost) breaks cover early
Thu, 19 Feb 2009The Rolls Royce EX200 Concept unveiled ahead of its Geneva debut [ad#ad-1] Well, this was supposed to be embargoed until tomorrow, but if the Daily Telegraph are prepared to jump the gun, I suppose we may as well jump on their coach and run it as well! After more spy shots of the Rolls Royce RR4 than I care to remember, and teaser images and trickles of details, we finally have some concrete information, and some images, to put meat on the bones of the new Baby Rolls Royce. But apparently we shouldn’t call it the ‘Baby’ RR, as Rolls Royce insists that the new car, which will be almost exactly the same as this concept, will be built to the same exacting standards as the flagship Phantom.

The Phibian is a 30-foot-long, nearly 12-foot-tall craft capable of highway speeds on land and more than 30 mph (26 knots) in the water. Constructed mainly of carbon fiber, the Phibian can hold up to 15 people, including a crew of three.
VW Golf GTI priced from £25,845 in UK
Thu, 04 Apr 2013The new Mk7 VW Golf GTI is now on sale in the UK priced from £25,845. That's only a £195 rise over the old Mk6 Golf GTI, despite the extra power, performance, and a 2.2mpg improvement in economy. Hang on - nearly £26k for a VW Golf GTI is a bit steep, isn't it? Actually, it's better value than the old Mk6 Golf GTI. For a start, the new Mk7 Golf GTI's 29E insurance group rating is five groups lower than the old model's, so you should save on premium renewals as well as road tax and fuel fill-ups.
